Fitting
We install the finished worktop, level it, seal the joints and leave the space clean and ready to use.
Fitting is the install stage. The finished pieces are brought to site, set onto your units, levelled and secured. Joints are bonded and colour-matched as closely as the material allows, and the perimeter is sealed against the wall.
Sink and tap connections are made watertight where they meet the worktop, and any upstands or splashbacks are fitted at the same time. We clear away offcuts and packaging and leave the worktop wiped down.
Before we leave we walk the finished installation with you and explain the care the material needs — for example, resealing intervals on granite, or simply wiping engineered quartz and porcelain.
What fitting includes
- Worktop set, levelled and secured to your units
- Joints bonded and colour-matched
- Perimeter and sink/tap junctions sealed
- Upstands or splashbacks fitted
- Offcuts and packaging removed, surfaces wiped down
- A care walk-through for your material
Worktop prices are indicative until we have surveyed your space — your firm price is confirmed in a written quotation after a site survey.
